I agree it's fair for an LBS to charge for swopping the parts over, but it certainly shouldn't be charging the customer, they should be able to charge Giant for their labour. If that happened to me I'd insist they sent it to me and I'd build it myself.

FWIW I've had two carbon frames replaced by Focus via Wiggle over the last few years, and Wiggle paid all the courier costs, (they even sent me a bike box to pack it in), and they re-built it at zero cost to me

Well, she's all done

Took the LBS nearly 3 weeks but, to be fair, there was no rush as I'm lucky enough to have other bikes to use.
I wasn't really expecting anything different to the SCR, but she feels stiffer and smoother!
