I can't stand the suspense. It can't be Linf's, unless he's sold the horses to Tesco's. So it's either borrowed, rented, unlikely or works.

I was put off them when my BiL rolled his on a corner when the tyre punctured.

I haven't got £53k rattling around to fritter away on a car...any car

I'm glad we have ours. With the snow and stuff its the difference between me being able to bring Woman home every night, or her having to stay in Hospital.

I prefer mine. People with smart cars don't like to get too close. They can see the different colour scrapes on the corners.
Oh thanks Linfy. I've never driven a 4x4 and have no understanding of physics or common sense. If you hadn't come along and stated the bleedin' obvious I'd most certainly be upside down in a rhyne before lunchtime.
There are plenty of people who can and do get it wrong in them. I've got caught out once at about 20mph a couple of years ago. Solid sheet ice under snow, and I was late on the brakes in to a junction, and locked it up. It really isn't a nice feeling, and reminded me to be respectful of the mass. No harm done, but if a car had been there, I would have hit it.

Just saying, as it sounds like a lot of explaining to do and we are in for a shed load of the white stuff overnight.

Don't get cocky behind the wheel and bin it... that's 3 times now

I guess they thought you wouldn't be able to get around in the focus in the bad weather

I once rolled a Nissan Micra, and there was nothing wrong with it...

I've rolled a joint before, nothing wrong with that either.

Now, what's the big roundy thing in front of me when I sit in the chair on the right?
That would be the spare tyre methinks.. :becool:

I tried one and I really wanted to like it but I couldn't get comfy in it, to the point that I actually went to the doctors. He(I don't do women doctors, well not in that sense) examined the bruising on my shoulders and pronounced a severe case of Dragoitis. Fortunately I didn't require any medication just a quick procedure to remove my head from my arse followed by strict instructions to lay off the steroids.

Though I can fit in one now without bashing my shoulders the lack of steroids seems to have kerbed my desires.
