The thing that slows my cornering down is the threat of loose chippings on some of the roads near us. There is one sweeping downhill right hander followed by a sharp, slightly uphill, left-hander I do. I am constantly terrified of hitting some loose stuff going into the first, faster bend, that I scrub off some speed.
As I get older I am getting more nesh. GF would kill me if I had an off.

Ignore all this good meaning advice and just turn right. You know it makes sense.
Keep on the left though. Unless you're abroad.

I have no problem with turning left or right, but on a linked point, I can only comfortably come to rest using my left leg.

I've tried stopping on the right, but it feels wobbly, and restarting by pushing on the left pedal is equally difficult.

Im also still a little slower on right handers but I try to keep my head up and look where im going. If you pull on the left bar the bike will turn right and vice versa

A former colleague used to avoid right turns when she was out on her bike.
Can't imagine she went very far.
OT a bit but I can have that problem. After a long ride my neck can seize up sometimes and I can't look behind.

Have to pull over opposite my turn and wait for a gap. This is normally accompanied by my legs ceasing to work, which doesn't help either.
