Anyone else have issues with left hand cornering? Im fine on right handers, and I'm right handed, but left feels awful and i panic and wimp out!!

Now you mention it, thinking about turning right doesn't feel right to me.

I have the same issue, but on right hand corners, especially tight downhill ones.
I was told the secret is in where you look: been cycling for 5 years now, still have problems, I think we need to practice more!

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I've never liked corners, especially dark ones as you never know what's lurking there.

But as I'm left handed I'm quite happy with left hand corners. It's right hand corners i don t like.

Just make sure your brake or gear cables arent too tight. Stand aside the bike and gently swing the handlebars to each extreme, feeling carefully in your case as you swing left. If a cable has been cut too short, it effectively pulls against you. .its an odd feeling if you don't realise.

If you are righthanded, you can probably pull on the right bar more firmly and confidently when going through a right hander. I hadn't really thought about it before. Just a suggestion.

Find somewhere quiet to practise.
