Landed at 21:46. Hows he going to get through customs with his load of Iburofen though!

Question.
Given that his flight dis-appeared outbound & again on return. Do you think he actually went to New York, or was he swapped mid-air, force fed false memories whilst in suspended animation.

I'm home! There was no wifi on the POS plane, I was gutted. No one died as far as I know, though I nearly fecking garrotted the stupid cow that put her seat all the way back for the whole flight. Thanks for keeping track of me though, it's reassuring to know that had I'd been taken again, one of you might have cared enough to know I wasnt lying about it.

Your flight did dis-appear mid-Atlantic on the return. Even American Airlines posted it as missing on their site. Again there was an unknown "flight" to the South being tracked. Odd that on both outbound & return flights it was the only one to be listed by the company as "missing" on both occassions.
What did you make of the person two rows back, keeping an eye on you & your odd! behaviour.

You certain it was actually you in New York & not some alien, feeding you false memories. Are you the same person who departed, or just another "illegal alien" that has has landed in this country?

No bage I'm Afraid.

You do, however, get a big :thanks: and a :bravo: for having started a thread that kept us all :hyper:, requiring copious amounts of  , :cuppa: before finally :wahhey:, followed by :heat: when you made it.

Now we can send to you all those projects and other things we should have been doing yesterday while we were 'keeping a watchful eye' on you and your flight.

Here is my garden. Here are the weeds. They shouldn't be there by now ....

Gee, thanks.

 - fascinating way to spend an afternoon after watching the Giro and an evening thereafter, chasing around to find where you had gone ! The relief when you landed was palpable ;)

New York is great. If your not taking your bike their are loads of bike hire places, the main one is Bike and Roll, you'd be hard pressed not to bump into one on your travels. I can recomend Rosie O'Gradys for great steak and Irish American food, Edit: Rocky's, on W57 street, American Diner style bugers and what not, and Carmines, a bit of a tourist trap, but great fun Italian style food, but be aware, just order one item 'cos you won't be able to finish it.

As for wifi, some of the newer American Airline planes are testing out, and at the moment it's free, our outbound flight had it, but the inbound did not. If you take an IPad with you you may have trouble checking the agree to T& C box because of the formatting, so just clear your cache and then try again and you should see the check box ok. I'm not sure if other airlines are doing Internet.

If you can take a short trip up to Peirmont about 20 miles away, a lovley small town America place with great places for a coffee and lunch, it's beautiful ride or drive. There's a fantastic cycle shop on the way too, to have sniff at, called Strictly Bicycles.
