Just received the following from American Airlines, in relation to CarlP's outbound flight. Good job it wasn't anything important.

We do appreciate your feedback regarding flight 101 from London to New York's JFK on May 02. The flight did depart late due to awaiting equipment, but it arrived on time at 1:07 PM.

Your outbound flight was posted as "missing", by AA, so I enquired as to the actual status of the flight. what I got back in response, yesterday(despite the date given in the response from AA), was posted above.
As I said, Good job it was nothing serious.

Concerned whilst tracking your flight, the airline posts it, on their site as "MISSING" & you say I'm strange. Some would have said "very strange".
