I arrived on day 2 of the great exodus, 06/07/07 and never went back, though I hadn't been on C+ for long anyway. IIRC one of the irritations that led to the exodus was that when the bike radar and C+ forums were amalgamated there were some duplicate user names. The bike radar users kept their existing names and the C+ members had to change.

One of the things that bugged me was that they just threw the C+ forum away! (As opposed to making it read-only.) I would be peeved if something happened to Shaun and CycleChat was subsequently allowed to just vanish.

I'm still registered on Bikeradar but haven't posted for years. I sometimes visit but it seems a strange, alien place.
