I don't keep any bike bits, if I don't need/want the part any longer it generally ends up on eBay and part funds the next purchase. My road bikes both have Selle Italia Ti Flites one with a cut out, and one without, not sure there is any appreciable comfort difference
The run around Trek MTB thing has the Bontrager OE saddle it came with, which is as wide as a sofa
My Carlton came with a dog eared Wrights' B17 clone which has cleaned up nicely with some saddle soap and I intend to use it whenever I get round to putting the bike back together.
I'm not 100% certain of the model as I am not an expert in the brand. I had mentioned to someone that I wouldn't mind an old "racer" to rebuild and he was able to direct me to this. I liked the look of the frame so I bought the frame and it came with a box of assorted cycle parts. The frame is like this - http://www.flickr.com/photos/74418119@N00/2962311386/sizes/l/ , if anyone can identify it, I'd be grateful. I'll post a picture when I put it together as I doubt anyone wants to see a picture of my untidy work bench.
well obviously I would if that were possible but there is only one shop within 100 miles round trip that has a decent stock and all they stock is fizic type saddles with zero padding or silly sadlles with splits and holes etc.
