How many of you have recently grown a beard?

I think all those hipsters at the moment look really cool ...I believe they think they look like a Spartan from the film 300...I'd love to grow one but I'm too grey and as I already have a clean shaven head, the woman says I look like a serial killer when I don't shave my face...which to be fair to her, she's not wrong...

Have you considered standing on your head so that you appear to have hair?

I do shave it off when I go on holiday, so I can put suncream on my face.

If you've got a beard you don't need suncream.

I've been bearded for about a dozen years now, I did shave it off at one point a few years ago, I started to grow it back within a week, my Good Lady wasn't impressed with my clean shaven look, I'm sure theres a picture on here somewhere of a clean shaven dave r .

I have a full head of hair and if I don't wear a hat my head burns, why would hair on my chin provide better protection?

Any recommendations? Mine drove me nuts for the first couple of Months, but it's settled down now.
I conditioned it regularly, brushed it twice a day and used beard oil regularly but nothing seemed to ease it.
