Haven't shaved all week and have been considering growing it out. Other half says she won't go near me with stubble, which works for me for most of the time but things get lonely after a while so I'll probably take it off at some point.

I rebelled when I left the army and grew a full set, had it for 3 or 4 years, now I shave once every 3 days before it gets to the itchy stage

I grew a beard about 20 years ago, It lasted about a month. I grew a tache the other year for Movember it lasted 6 months then i got bored with it so off it came. I shave every day,but maybe one day i'll go though another phase and grow some more facial hair?
Some of those long beards being sported now are horrible! The worst example is the Scottish rugby player,it's about 2ft long!

Very fashionable in Rugby Union, specially in the front row. Which says a lot about RU todays, no punching, no gouging, no biting (what are ears for) no stamping and now, no removal of facial hair with out a razor blades. What is the world coming to?

That'll be Geoff Cross, it's a cracking effort, but a little too sculpted for my tastes.

The best beard in rugby belonged to Adam Kleeburger. It was a wild and strong effort, almost stereotypically Canadian.

I've been growing a beard for the very first time since the 1st of January, the only reason is because I'm doing the Welsh 3 peaks challenge a week tomorrow and thought a beard would keep me warm, I work in a very cold place and it's suprising how warm it does keep my face, the misses hates it but it's growing on me (no pun intended)

Something similar here, I didn't have a shave for a few days at the start of the year & joked about growing a beard. My misses hated it, but I was surprised how much warmer it was cycling in winter with a beard, so kept it. Finally shaved it off on Tuesday this week as I was starting to get too warm whilst cycling. My wife had actually bought some pink dye & was going to colour it one night to 'make' me shave it off, if only I'd known ^_^

I went for the designer stubble look back in the 80's when it was fashionable, and have kept it ever since. Glad to see it's back in fashion again.

I did once shave it off sometime in the 90's, but Mrs S reckoned I looked like Russ Abbott, so I grew it back.
