How many gears?

I put that I ride a single speed which is right as that is all I have but I do ride the Bromptons at work and they are S2, M3 and the P6




I love the S2 it is grate.

It depends on what you are doing. I am purely a road rider. As we all know, road riding is the purist type of cycling!

As long as I dont run out of cogs when I want to go up a hill or have to pedal too fast when I want to go quicker then I am happy.

I think it is quite easy to get a bike to do this and anyone who does not have this range is making it harder for themselves (I accept that some may want to do this but dont complain when it knackers you)
I did a long organised ride which some did on a single speed bike and were behaving like they were a God or something. I just thought it a bit stupid. If you want to make it hard then just leave the bike at home and run it.
