Slow-digesting stuff might help with the hunger pangs; Greek yogurt or cottage cheese etc?
Greek yoghurt is wonderful stuff, but it is over 10% fat and incredibly yummy so it is best to steer clear of it if you are watching your weight!

Lidl do a version which is only 2% fat. It obviously isn't as nice as the real thing, but it doesn't contain any nasty additives and is still quite tasty. If you like it fruity, add a few strawberries or grapes and blend them in.

I usually eat cottage cheese instead of my favourite, extra mature cheddar, though I do treat myself to cheddar a couple of times a week.

Hunger pangs suck.

However, it's the same feeling for thirst too, and can also be caused by the stomach being physically empty.

So
Step 1 : Try drinking water
Step 2 : Change diet for food that is not calorie dense. Nice large foods with few calories can stop the hunger

If they don't work
Step 3 : Suck it up, feel hungry or stay fat
