Still working, from home, NHS research. Lots of new Covid-19 trials coming in so that side of things is ramping up. Much other stuff is winding down (many clinical trials have been put on hold, or have been withdrawn before they've opened). I don't reallylike my job at the best of times, and hate working from home but at least I have a job so i can't complain

I’m manager of a Homeless Daycentre for a charity. Of the 8 strong management team across 14 projects, I’m one of two still in full time, rest at home either due to child care or not essential. Even operating with ‘closed doors’ workload has ramped up, mainly trying to get food for ~100 people a day and then doing a lot of stuff that either can’t be done from home or that just comes to me as I’m answering the head office phone.

Still working, manufacturing place that is still open.

Have been given an extra 2 days off next week as they begin a period of reducing the number of people on site (office staff been working from home for a couple of weeks)

Expecting to be furloughed sometime in the next few weeks, depending on how long this goes on for..

I’m a tax manager for a housing association so I’m busy with the VAT returns working from home. The development side of my role has wound down alot as we have slowed down housing sites in planning an feasibility stage and stopped on site development and investment work completely. I am also welcoming the 6month breather in making tax digital (deferred co) as it will give me more time to prepare for the hard link stage and the delay in IR35.
All other aspects of my role remain the same so I have a routine to carry on without too much impact. The association will survive by virtue of tenants needing a home but it will be a big hit and I can kiss goodbye to inflation pay rises for years to come.

Warehouse monkey for a car parts retailer. Low pay, incredibly hard work and long hours, absolutely love it. Not in at the moment though as I have the virus

Yep, warehouse monkey here too. Most people here are on minimum wage. Unfortunately that seems to translate into a lot of terminally unaware people happy to moan about people going out at the weekend and moan about how we should be shut down during this crises but are stupifyingly unaware of their own actions and boundariers in order to protect everyone. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

I'm doing my best and have some now being mindful of when they get to close.

The longer term goal is to still have work in 3 weeks /3 months.

I am sad to say my work is not important.

Well I've had a small chip in the centre of my windscreen for about 5 years now and a slight deflection of the panel on my nearside front wing. I'll keep you in mind if it gets serious..... 🤫

My jobs not really important other than to the boss and the very well known company that is our lifeblood and we distribute for.

Strangely stuff that is in demand at the mo.

A---s. Delivery driver. Got this job just before it all went funny and lock down. Been out of work since 2015 due to ill health so to be back in work! Bliss.
But I do wonder how people are paying for all the "stuff" they are buying? For the kids it's like Christmas has come early. The first week of lockdown it was mostly office supplies type stuff, and printers.
Now Tvs are going out the door like hot cakes...... Or toilet paper.

I am still at work making sails. All who can work from home were sent home 3 weeks ago. Our order books were full and now a couple of operations in other parts of the world have been closed and so we are making their sales. We are now very busy.

I imagine working from home could end up with sails going through the roof.
