Forgetting stereotypes for a min...... how long does it take to get you ready to ride...? Male or female .. any difference ...?
in essence, its expeditionesque to get rolling on the road!

exactly ! thats why I dread going out at the best of times but this cold weather its even more of a chore.;)

Takes me 10 minutes to sort out the bloody wrinkles in my tights !...by the time I get everthing on and I'm going out the door my body always decides that right now would be the best time of the day to take an urgent pony and trap ???? Grrrrrr

tends to take me along time to get ready but there is no rush and putting on bib tights does seem to start an involuntary need to visit the smallest room of the house

15mins from bed to bike and that includes a helping of wheetabix and toast. Just check that the brakes are OK and that the back door is locked and I am off.

do you shave and put your tights on when you are on the bike ;):biggrin:

It takes me about 30 mins just to get dressed:angry: But then I do have leg warmers and they take ages to put on - same with the overshoes.

In summer I come home from school, walk through the door at 3.55 have a bowl of cereal go get changed and walk out the back gate at 4.15, so thats not too bad.

I wake up about 1 1/2 hours before I leave the house at weekends.

Oh, I am sooo jealous of you guys! The mornings here at the moment are challenging....

There are four people to get out the door and onto 3 bikes, all at the same time. Think wacky races, and you're close...One chaotic hour usually does it though.

Getting myself ready, easy. Getting a five year old togged up so that the other mums at the school don't call social services and dob me in for child cruelty is another thing altogether! Am already on the "cruel ma" list for not driving my precious princess, so daren't allow her to arrive at school one degree cooler than any of the chauffered kids.

Will be so glad when summer is here and all the waterproofs and extra layers, legwarmers etc can be dispensed with...

Well, I'm new to all this shizzle but it takes me about 10/15 mins - overshoes seem to take the longest! lol!
I do keep everything in one place though so I don't seem to have the running about looking for stuff thing!
