And the cause of my death will be lower respiratory infection.

So come my 90th Birthday I need to diligently isolate myself andnI should live forever.

The way I see it, with Trump in charge we could all be irradiated within a couple of weeks but even if that doesn't happen surely the state of the world is a huge factor, rising sea levels, extreme weather destroying crops, wars over the reducing resources. The horrific destruction of Gaza is going to cause a new wave of terrorism around the world. It feels predicting someone's life expectancy in isolation to what is happening in the world surely means its only part of the picture. The UK is not food secure, we now have a much larger population of around 70 million and import a huge amount of food. As air quality reduces people with breathing issues will struggle more and there may come a time when food production becomes more critical so more intense farming etc with higher levels of chemicals in food. For those who might get an extra 60 years of life, 60 years from now is going to be a very different world. The film Solyent Green predicted a future where the majority are homeless and eating biscuits made of the recently deceased and yes their predictions were a bit early at 2022 but it feels like a movie that has predicted the future very well just not the exact timing. Look at New York now, even middle income people homeless living in tents because they can't afford to rent or are inbetween property because they need a deposit of $15k just to get their foot in the door.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Wow. Just shy of 100. That isn't bad as my mum lived to be 101.

So you're hoping to live to 126, but not live in New York?

The issues in New York are effecting many US cities and other big cities around the world but I guess New York is an extreme example. If I do live to 126 with improvement in medicines and treatment etc then that would mean millions of others do too so the world population would be utterly extreme and surely we would be in a Solyent Green situation.

Sure, but looking on the bright side, you can now get bicycles with 13 gear cassettes!
