How do I transfer the rear gear cassette to my new wheel?

If the freehub on the new wheel is a different model, you may need to add or remove a spacer. I think the spacer may come with the new wheels but I'm not certain. Can anybody comment on this?

The wheels arrived today and have the spacer.. so I should be good to go!

If the cassette is anything older than nearly brand new it would make more sense to put a new one on and keep the old wheel as a ready-to-go spare.
