Hi all, I have recently bought a pair of fulcrum racing Quattros and need to transfer the rear gear hub to the new wheel.

I have basic alexrims from my felt on at the moment. How easy is it to do this? And what do I need to do? Do I need any specific tools?

Any help really appreciated.

Thanks

Chris

If you already have a car or motorbike oil filter removal tool like this, it will do the job of a chain whip:

You are best off going and buying the tools yourself if you can't arrange for someone on here to do it, Evans wanted £11.50 from me and Halfords wanted 20 odd for a full wheel build!? I managed to pick up the tools for little over a tenner and it's a really easy job. Don't even need the chain whip to fix the cassette onto the hub, literally a 2 minute job

If the freehub on the new wheel is a different model, you may need to add or remove a spacer. I think the spacer may come with the new wheels but I'm not certain. Can anybody comment on this?

isn't it common sense the biggest one goes on first followed by the second biggest one etc? i think could judge it with them all laid out in front of me jumbled up
