Let's hope they can get all sides back together and seeing sense, if the teams can show the way then both the UCI and ASO must get off their high horses and cooperate. Somehow though I think this will be easier said than done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It appears that the Teams are steering this to a degree and if they are indeed in the driving seat then maybe they are the ones who can make the UCI and ASO work together as they hold the keys to Cycling's future.

Yeah seen that article. It really is a sad indictment when the teams have to get the "organisers" together to try and trash out a deal.

I think Pat McQuaid has made some good points in relation to effect of the loss of income from the pro teams not renewing their contracts such the effect on smaller races and the blood passport system however as always it was wrapped up in so much vitriol that I doubt anyone will bother listening to him.

Let's hope the teams can knock some sense into them but it will be an uphill battle but perhaps the teams not renewing their licenses is the boot that the UCI needs to start reforming its outdated structures.
