Itching to get back on my bike's

Yes @SkipdiverJohn they are , worse luck the rear one has lost the last 6"
And couldn't agree more

Had another tinkering session this morning and managed to get the 27" rear wheel in and fully operational and even had time for a two mile road test and what a difference a round wheel makes just need to sort the front one out now .

And a nice Turbo saddle that must add another 10 mph to the top speed.
If you leave the odd wheels and chuck away the front mudguard you could have a Tracker Bike like @Drago has built!
Well done getting that lot out !!Bit of time tonight trying to work out why I couldn't get the quill stem fully out .

And the bottom 1.5" of the stem had broken away and where it had been tightened up had pulled the broken section off centre causing it to stop the quill coming up .
All out now just need to sort out which stem and bar combination is going back in .
Well done getting that lot out !!
The original quill stem on my Carlton did that, cracked at the top of the expander slots.
Looks good Mr B. but what happened after the first 4.23 miles....don't leave us in suspendersThings went so well last night I thought I would use this today for my commuting
