sounds to me like you're poorly and probably not over your flu properly and in a lethargic mood. Chill out, it will be summer soon and you'll start feeling like getting out.

Get everything ready the night before set your alarm
get up dress and straight out on a short ride
Then begin your day.

Cheers guys. I come to get on the thing but it just doesn't happen. I've even gotten all my stuff on to go to work on it and ended up going back home and having to get changed and going in the car.
Thanks for your replies. It doesn't sound like this is a usual thing. It's a shame to just sell it as unridden in January.

How about looking for a coaching session. There are women only coaching sections around the place. Or how about joining a Breeze ride?

I tried to go out with my bf a couple of days ago but it just isn't happening for me. I'm not worried about the whole women only thing - I train with men so that's not the issue.
I think it's just something specific to me maybe there is no answer to it. I have fighters who lose confidence and the only answer is to fight so I do see where you're all coming from. Just is not happening.

Nah I sold my other when I got this one so I only have one bike. Apart from my motorbike that is.
What I meant was: are you able to ride other bikes. Obviously you are, if you did ride the the previous one.
So maybe a specific problem with this one: you don't like it.
Shame, but we all make purchase mistakes: get N+1 ^_^

Aye maybe it's that. I think it's me rather than the bike. Maybe it's just not for me.

i bought a really expensive air rifle last year [my second] .. but nothing clicked
a 40 mile round trip to the range was my excuse for not using it more
in reality - I'd just lost interest

store the bike - enjoy the motorbike for a few month - and see if you miss the bike as summer approaches
if you don't - sell it and remove the fretting about it..........sold my air rifle even with its £250 custom walnut stock ... oh well.....:reading:

If he's a nice boyfriend he'll ride as you wish to, he can chain gang it with the chain gang ;)

Have you looked at the sky rides or breeze rides, although the latter seem to be in the working week

To be honest if I could actually get on the thing I'd be ok. The barrier is getting on like step one. I know it sounds mad but this is where I'm at
