The pace was slow, because I was feeling a bit second-hand. I think that we were moving at around 16-17mph on the flat. However, as Defy wrote, there's no pressure and no dropping anyone, we were chatting the whole time, it's about social rather than Strava segments. ;)

I'm up for a ride early Saturday morning. If we are doing similar mileage then i shall bring my newbie neighbour on his carrera tdf.

Saturday @ the ice rink 8am?

Mark - is it rain on Saturday?
I was looking on my phone and Saturday looked good.
Is Sunday any better - just thinking a group ride isn't much fun in therain, and the cake will get soggy eh Norm?? ;-

Your both right sorry my brain is elsewhere this week (work is manic) i was looking at the next 24 hours not the next 7 days :crazy: looking foward to a nice sunny ride Saturday and some non soggy cake :biggrin:

Did we agree 8 @ ice rink ??

I was considering cycling down from beaconsfield, but I dont fancy adding 20 miles onto the ride ^_^

:biggrin: be warned if you drive with the car in the boot free parking is sparse in Slough u will have a ticket slapped on you before u can clip in to your pedals either that or on your return your wheels would have been replaced by some lovely looking bricks by the local ragger muffins :giggle:

The website says free parking but thats probably for users of the rink no idea how they police that though so i would of thought that would be fine up to you mate
