I had a similar issue with the Triban Mark. The 57 felt cramped and slammed. The 60 felt better but outstretched like your boardman. New saddle and adjustable 85mm stem has made it superb.
With Pauls help and my **** taking :sorted

I have all the time in the world for pi** takers its what makes life bearable lol

Whichever way you look at it Mark at least your big enough that you can use standard parts such as cranks etc, think about my situation. I have narrow shoulders, short arms and short femur... this is why I have a nice selection of stems and bars, nobody makes bikes for people like me, they make them for joe average. I have to change a fair bit, remember what I brought today for basically a set of cranks in my size !!

Sorry dude, sympathy left the building... we can sort your issues with the things which cause me problems

Agreed your situation is alot worse than mine and alot more expensive ! it just annoys me that people ie the lovely sales people at Helfrauds didnt take the 5 mins like your mate at the Concept store to actually ask a few questions about my height let me sit on a bike etc. And then i wouldnt have to rely on people like your good self to make my cycling experiences more comfortable and enjoyable !

Without question next C2W bike is coming from there so be a good chap Paul and dont fall out with them

sounds pucker mate very much appreciated im beginning to go off my bike rather rapidly but it cant help that the useless twats sold me a size to big :cursing: live and learn ! think my next purchase will be from a nice little shop in Ruislip high street
If it's a Spesh you are looking at, Mark, give Stows a call before parting with your cash. They are on your doorstep, for sorting out any probs and doing the free service, and I bet they could match any price you get from the concept store. They are also good with test rides, so you should be able to have a decent run to sort out sizes etc to make sure you are comfortable.

Met Mark this morning and swapped out his massive 110mm stem for a S-Works 90mm stem, he looked better on the bike and I will be interested to know how he's got on with a shorter stem.
We also noticed that his rear deraileur looked a bit odd, the jockey wheels are not in alignment with the cassette, really odd angles.... No idea if its normal for sram

just stripped the bikes and cleaned them, so im happy.
Equally pleased Mark feels better on his bike, don't worry to much about the stem mate, I know its in good hands but equally you never know what haapens, if for example you had an off, I would be more concerned for you, stems are easier to replace than you.
Well interested to know about the deraileur, if they all look like that.

Looks like its just starting to spit, could be a wet ride D1  .

Thanks Paul much appreciated. As far as the gears id say inconclusive ! Helfrauds was rammed finally got to talk to someone who was helping them out from the car dept downstairs ! so no help really had a look at the display bikes deraileurs all looked straight and true so im thinking something has happend to mine at some point. Bloke i dealt with before was on a day off so will go back down there during the week when it is quieter and talk to him.
