I'm nearly always tempted to make a witty aside about today's word. The temptation can be hard to resist.
It appears that Wordle is far too serious for a witty aside. 🙄
I presume I can now make comment on yesterday’s word and say that I’m surprised that Bloke was used in an American game as i presumed it was a very British word.

I think the appearance of THORO (or COLOR or whatever it was) a while ago would have taught people not to make assumptions like that ;)

Hence
Apropos of nothing today, Josh Wardle lives in the United States but grew up in Wales. His partner who helped develop it is of Indian heritage.

Folks on the other side of the pond are making just that complaint about bloke.

As Brits did about favor.

Some are arguing caulk was unfair as is not a common word.

All seem fair game to me.

Problem with witty asides is they do give real clues. With the comment about rejecting the word as it was british slang, I would have saved 2 lines, as I had initially rejected it for that reason, only further elimination words narrowed my choice.

Think I'm cured.

I was adicted to this wordle, waiting to midnight to get the next one done.
Then someone on here posted the link to the archive words.

So I've spent the last week or so, doing all the archive games, well over 200 of them, with about an 80% success rate.
But I can safely say now that I've been super saturated with wordle and don't want to see another one for a while!

Good luck to every one still doing it.

That's why it is so good. Short daily bursts. Not a time bandit
