Have you checked the header on the browser to ensure it is still on the old site and not NYT?

They have done a pretty good job or porting it over so changes are quite subtle though you may still be picking up a cached version of the old site.

I went in via powerlanguage and it auto diverted to nyt, but my history / stats / streak is in place, albeit a bit funked anyway as I use my phone on weekends and usually the PC mid week.

Normally, I use educated guess after two targeted (vowels/common consonants) words.

Today, an analytical approach:

Using a Scrabble cheat program:
Find all 5 letter words containing Yellow letters (145 words)
Delete all containing rejected (White) letters
Delete all with any yellow letter matching test positions
Remove oddball/obscure words
Select letter positions giving most info.
Educated guess which of 5 option words most likely

Soulless, but effective!
