Once a Wheeler

…always a wheeler
These are great; and with summers heading for the Sahara, ever more relevant.

The front and back curtains are detachable and can be left off individually. No more burnt necks, much more comfort walking through midge clouds and it all folds up easily to slip into the rucksack. For once, something utterly practical that can turn the pest-infested oven into warm enjoyment at a reasonable price.

I’m still coming to terms with the fact that is isn’t an Accy thread.

They're not tweed. :okay:

My first Tilley Hat got a hole in the side above my left ear. I realised that when I carried it I would unconsciously rub the area with my thumbnail. I was distraught, that hat and I had been on many adventures, foreign holidays, back packing trips, cruises to exotic lands and too many to count days in the hills and mountains. I contacted Tilley and asked about a repair. They asked for a photo, then asked me to draw a large letter R on the inside label and photograph the result. They posted out a brand new hat for £6.00 to cover P&P The old hat is now my gardening and painting hat.
Buy a Tilley you only ever buy one.
