Hmmm...my switch from Ronhills to proper Altura cycling trousers has thrown up something I must buy...

...I need a phone holster/bag/thingy to stick somewhere on my bike. My Ronnies had pockets my proper trews don't!

Damn!

Mrs SD just raised her eyebrows. This is worrying as there is a hair appointment on the calendar and these can get seriously expensive in this house once you get beyond cut & dry and into the realms of dyeing, then highlights and then a big bag of hair product goodies etc.

PS: my little saddlebag is rammed full of breakdown stuff and it took a team of 3 around 31 hours to cram it all in the limited amount of space in there. No way will a phone go in as well.

Your missus too huh?
I think this is why nothing is really mentioned in our household about my bike/bike bit buying habit when her habit see's little pot's of hair/body products costing an arm and a leg...

It never stops but can slow down. Running 4 bikes there is always something. I've got loads of pumps, one for the long rides, one for the commute, and one in the rucksack when out with family or on the MTB.

I had to replace my fingerless gloves today as I wore my old ones over the last week and STILL have half a numb finger - not great for a massage and reflexology therapist!

I might also need another good pair of shorts as I only have one really good pair. Now I'm upping the miles I need protection for my 'bits'

As the owner of a touring bike, I might also add that everyone needs a touring bike. And racks, panniers, a seat bag, a handlebar bag, 3 water bottles and a nicer camera, and a little stove and a tent. And a sleeping bag.
