Has London Fallen?

Just looking for confirmation. The movie poster looks pretty convincing, and Morgan Freeman as positively stately as the Duke of Edinburgh.
Looking ahead at the future of this movie franchise, which places would you like to see Fallen, or even Taken, on-screen.

London could never fall. It's too awesome. Nobody could outwit or out gun us. If there was WW3 London would pretty much continue as normal when the rest of the planet would be wiped out. Only real worry is a couple of months delay in the new iPhone whilst production is switched to Wimbledon.

Maybe the north has already fallen, it's hard to tell.

You can always rely on chirpy Cockney costermongers to carry on as normal, just "more open than usual".

And then a few more months while someone tried to find a charger for it. Then a Northerner would chirp up "It's ok I've got a fully charged Android phone" and save the day.

Phone networks tend to go down under stress. Its is always a useful plot device to shoe-horn in some frantic car-chase scenes, when normal people would just telephone to say, "bad guys coming your way".

Or are switched off to the public under stress to preserve capacity for essential personnel.

If it's a big, stupid and violent as the first I'll not be complaining.

Ah, just read that Antoine Fuqua has been ditched. Not a good sign. Dude knows his way around an action film.

London won't fall, it'll sink. Or, rather, be subsumed.

And, being 250ft above sea level to the far south, I'll have a home with a lovely lakeside vista. With some awesome cycling routes to my south.

I'd could even pop down to Biggin Hill to get the helicopter up to Liverpool whenever I tired of looking at the tip of The Shard forming the centrepiece of Lake Thames.

It'll be even worse from next year, when the EMS bin the dreadful Airwaves system and move to the new 4g system that directly utilises domestic mobile infrastructure. First hint of anything major anywhere and public access to mobile comms will be shut down to guarantee capacity.

Fortunately, some of us are Cat 2 responders, and also radio hams ;)

And all the twots that bough Apple gear will find it won't work, just when they really needed it!
