Has his Drago-ness really left the building (again)? If so...?

It's not really a case of wrath. If something's not really on, we'll either delete it or ask the poster to change it themselves. That's usually all it takes. Things like typos, thread titles all IN CAPITALS we'll normally just fix them.
We do prefer people to report things, rather than complain to the poster. It's not cowardice, it's the way @Shaun wants CC to be run.

So he hasn't posted for a whole 9 long days. That;s not exactly a long time is it! Most of you who've been posting on here for quite a while will know that he's a mercenary:secret:. That's in the true sense of the word, meaning someone who will fight in a war for payment:gun:,not just someone who does something for a few bob or a favour owed. Don't fret over him,he'll be back soon after his latest escapade.

Well, there are 43,000+ members. I doubt most of them will even post again, so I think that's true if misleading.

It's easy to get five warnings in a year:
1. Post daily in the news forum as a centrist democrat but neither labour nor conservative (this gets you LOADS of reports from party supporters complaining of a wide range - some will stick and a few a year will get a warning)
2. Be a wobbly/gimp unhappy with BC's ongoing treatment (this seems to upset BC members but they report you more than they seem to pressure BC)
3. Object to hi-vis promotion (that was "inappropriate content" oddly enough);
4. Stray from describing one's experience of this site into discussing the moderation policy which I am determinedly not doing this time!
I'm not getting into a detailed discussion, but reports don't result in a warning unless they're justified, and even discussion of modding usually doesn't, at least not the first few times. Getting a 24 hour ban is supposed to be a bit of a wake-up call, after having had quite a few warnings. And with that, I'm off to bed. Goodnight all.

I'm not discussing it at all. "Quite a few"=just 5 and the only thing it woke me up to was to stop participating in many news threads, not yet to quit the site like Drago. Sleep well!

I clicked on the link out of curiosity but stayed for the whole Blog. Very entertaining, easy to read, well written content.

It's a shame that we've lost someone capable of producing that kind of quality content. But unfortunately, after reading his "(Anti) social media" Blog post, I fear he's not really left himself a way back  (but to be fair, I think that was his intention).

As long as I breathe, I attack.
What a pity that people chose to complain to the mods rather than to the poster, giving that poster a chance to voluntarily delete his/her own post before incurring the wrath of the moderators. I actually find that a little bit cowardly.
unfortunately sometimes you have to resort to mods , i had an altercation with a member who kept being nasty even after being asked by me, the mods did some sweeping and i still got a load of wrath so i left .

To quote

"OK, it had its element of tools and idiots rabidly obsessed with their particular pet cause"

"Unfortunately, with time I became dissatisfied with the forum itself, or more accurately the chumps that ran it. By and large their edicts and orders were fairly predictable and easy to reconcile with the rules…at first. "

Well if that's not a flounce ?

Bit poor call TBF. See ya.
