Has his Drago-ness really left the building (again)? If so...?

I hope Drago comes back.

That reads a tad nasty, was it meant to?
Nah, tongue in cheek. I'm always slightly amused at the where's Drago threads. This is actually the third one, hence my Beetlejuice comment. I'm bemused by his pulling power but clearly he's got it, however, his blog post seemed pretty final. That's the trouble with blogs, you can't pretend you just nipped out for some air.

by 'day ban' do you mean as in daylight hours ? I would have thought after beer-o-hour would be better targeted

at @mods whats the most popular time of day for errant posts ? and has there ever been any studies into the fullness of the moon ?[/QUOTE]
Would have thought the best time is when the pubs close. People who hide behind made up names get a bit braver.

5 warnings is quite a determined effort, IMHO. Most members never, ever get even one.
Well, there are 43,000+ members. I doubt most of them will even post again, so I think that's true if misleading.

It's easy to get five warnings in a year:
1. Post daily in the news forum as a centrist democrat but neither labour nor conservative (this gets you LOADS of reports from party supporters complaining of a wide range - some will stick and a few a year will get a warning)
2. Be a wobbly/gimp unhappy with BC's ongoing treatment (this seems to upset BC members but they report you more than they seem to pressure BC)
3. Object to hi-vis promotion (that was "inappropriate content" oddly enough);
4. Stray from describing one's experience of this site into discussing the moderation policy which I am determinedly not doing this time!

24 hours from when the mods notice IIRC. I'm sure if you ask nicely, they'll give you one...

The filters , such as they are, are the filters made by the many posters that complain about seeing unsuitable content on CC.
That's often a judgement call, not things covered by hard and fast rules.
Please remember that the Mods are not full time staff members - we're volunteers, and we tend to act as a team.
At least 90% of moderation is reactive - we act on complaints, or (rarely) if we see something while we're using CC ourselves.
@Drago hasn't been banned and I hope he comes back soon.
What a pity that people chose to complain to the mods rather than to the poster, giving that poster a chance to voluntarily delete his/her own post before incurring the wrath of the moderators. I actually find that a little bit cowardly.
