I think many male riders would have done the same - she's exciting to watch as are many others irrespective of their gender. And most riders "have balls". Apart from me - when I hit the back of a car back in 1978 and needed stitches in my chin I cried. I was only 9, and was 20 miles from the nearest hospital tho...I think Hannah Barnes is just wanting to have a scar like mine.

Ooh, seeing this thread has bounced back up, I couldn't help noticing the irony of one of the earlier races being sponsored by Look Mum No Hands. If Hannah Barnes ever arrived first at the LMNH café she'd end up waiting 4 days to get served and that would come with a good telling off....
