I have a boardman road sport I got it for £375 and am very pleased with it I had a virtuoso before that and had no problems with it if you do get a triban I'd upgrade the wheels as their not the best

I bought the Virtuoso back in June and it rode well in my naive opinion until I came off it (my own fault for riding on a slippery surface) but the fall has bent my forks. I feel the forks (and possibly the frame) aren't the strongest as it wasn't a particularly heavy fall. I didn't hit anything, the wheel just went from under me as I went around a muddy puddle, so it was only my weight which bent it (I'm 6'1" and approx the top end of 13 stone). I am going to replace the fork and keep the bike for now though. The Boardman Road Sport looks to have similar of spec to me but at £499.99 I'd go for the Virtuso unless you can get it for £375 like Craven2354 managed too?

Iv got the 2009 virtuoso and use it for commuting and can't fault it at all. As others iv fitted spd pedals and changed tyres although that was only due to eventual wear. Its got the fittings to attach a rear pannier and space for mudguards so all in all its a pretty good work horse I think.
On a different thread I think the triban 3 next model is a significant downgrade so may want to look at the current model before it goes.
