had a nasty shock today

Never happened to me, the boots I wear to work and what I usually do for cycling don't have any laces, my trousers get tucked into my socks on the road bike mainly just to keep them clean. The mountain bike has a bit of a plastic guard around the largest front cog and haven't had any issues with getting caught in it.

The other half though had her shoe lace wrap around the pedal, pulled over to the curb and then fell off. It is on video, but I've been told I'm not allowed to upload it.
