Its very nice but I prefare the older style 2012/13,,,,,,,as a first road bike you have done very well compared to my old tdf

Very nice looking bike, graphics have been thoughtfully designed.

Be even better once you've ditched the reflectors, dork disc and got some proper pedals on there.

Dork disc? (perplexed) but ill dump the reflectors for sure, i also fitted the bike hut computer today too.

Naff wee plastic disc behind the cassette. Serves no purpose other than discolouring and eventually snapping when it becomes brittle. Most places will take it off when servicing the bike, or you can do it yourself.

Still, it's a great bike even with it there.

i was thinking the exact same thing!
usually id just crack out the tools, but this bike is 10x more then ive ever spent on any bike lol but that doesn't mean i won't do the maintenance myself.

By the way, didn't mean to derail this with gubbins about what to take off, most important thing is that you're chuffed. Hope you get a good ride out at the weekend!

I didn't think anything of it buddy.
The shitty thing is i won't get a ride out for at least a week :sad: wedding on saturday day and night do, then sunday a.m I'm off to oxford for the week for a training course with work :sad: i was gonna take the defy but drinking is usually the only leisure time on these courses lol.

Welcome to the Defy club.... fab looking bike... The only downside to this thread is that I took delivery of my Defy2 2014 spec when they first came out which means it must be year old now:sad: must be nearly time for a new one:whistle: (fat and none are the chances in the next 5 years according to my Mrs)
