My wife bought me a Lorus watch for Christmas in 1988 and last year, whilst fitting a new battery, Timmons broke the rubber ‘O’ ring. They couldn’t find a replacement tried everywhere. My son bought me another Lorus analogue watch for Christmas last year it’s much too heavy but I have gotten used to it.
My first Lorus lasted me 35 years not bad ‘eh?

If you can find an independent watchmaker who will fix anything and everything, the chances are they will have the gaskets for older watches.
