Ah but that is on reported accidents. Did the number of unreported accidents without head injuries increase ?

Ah, so you think that helmet wearing makes you much more reckless so while there was no decrease in reported head injuries there was a big increase accidents without head injuries meaning many more accidents in total? Well certainly there has been evidence of helmet wearers taking more risks so there could be something in it.

you have made this point many times, now you appear to be surprised by it, keep up the facade? selective memory?

90% of 5 % or 20 % or XYZ %

Is that an anagram of "Australian Teenagers" ? I was never very good with that part on countdown.

So a very small percentage then or were there 1000s of street counters ?

Don't quote me on this because its from memory rather than looking it up but IIRC it was counts at 110 locations done throughout the late spring and summer each year for a number of years. The injury data comes from the hospitalisation injury database of the Canadian Institute for Health Information.

Wrong continent I believe and wrong survey but there you go thats the problem with so many surveys and so many survey interpreters

Not surprised at all. Lukesdad had postulated a whole load of additional unreported accident occurred after helmet wearing went up. I was just setting out the only logical consequences of that postulate. Personally I think Lukesdad is grasping at straws without thinking them through properly first rather than there was any actual increase in accidents.
