So can you or can’t you ride a bike unaided? Will you be riding on roads? Do you drive or have no experience of operating a ‘vehicle’ around other traffic and pedestrians?I did do a 1 hour lesson with a trainer some months ago.

Being confident to ride should be your priority then learn about roadcraft (there’s a good book called Cycle Craft by John Franklin)
Definitely get a copy of Cycle craftI can ride unaided. Well its was basically at a park I did the lesson.Yes i will be riding on the road.

I think @broady is in Leicester or thereabouts and often has used bikes for sale. You never know

I've pretty much stopped the bike building as I am riding more but I know of a few bikes that are for sale
