Brilliant progress Joe - from my calculations you'll not need to go out on the bike soon - you'll be meeting yourself coming back in just under five weeks if you continue to knock 30 mins off every two weeks.;)
Impressive improvements.

Keep going joe I started cycling in March and managed to get up to 56 mile rides then did 117 mile Bristol to London... It comes in time. Trying to get me average speed up now seems to avg 16.9 on most rides this year keep pushing and it will come

Darned fine riding.:bravo: I've noticed the same as you, i.e. a bit of progress followed by a period of consolidation, then a bit more progress. Can't say I'm trying very hard, but time on the bike just makes for better riding I suppose.

Great progress Joe - I love hearing about other riders improvements, it gives me more encouragement.

I've only been out twice so far on my new steed but I've gone from 6 miles to 9 miles this week and felt great.

Planning on doing a 12 miler tomorrow evening - got a lovely route planned out, which, strangely enough, takes in a pub - how on earth did that happen???

It's all about enjoyment, tea and cake, pint, flapjack at a particular view point, it really doesn't matter so long as you are enjoying it.
