Have just ordered a pair of glasses. Got mine so that I don't end up blinded by hayfever as the pollen count rises - but looks like they'll save me from the flying insects too...must admit I had a close call on Friday when something bounced off my cheek!

I always use eye protection. I've got a small permanent scar on my left temple just above the eyebrow from a large piece of recently broken glass flicked up by an overtaking vehicle. The damn thing needed a stitch, just think if I'd been 1/4 of a second down the road what would have met the piece of glass!
