The Dawes above is coming on. Part way through its spray paint and I think all parts are in hand. Need to do the final colour on the frame and add some stickers which have not arrived yet then topcoat. Then the rebuild begins. Probably going to put modern bars and bar end shifter on it for now, but probably stick to 2x5 gearing with the nice wheels from the Carlton with the suspect frame.
Incoming this week have a bike for my wife, a nice claud butler which fits her perfect and is just what we where after. Reynolds 500 tubing like my Holdsworth, in face it's the same frame, plus original components made it a steel at £20 in my eyes.
Plus some Facebook browsing caught me this fab GT Timberline with quite nice spec components. The bars are what caught my eye for the wife's CB and the whole bike cost less than they would have new from SJS. But on collection it's a far better bike than the advert or £20 price suggested. I'll have to ponder.
