Yeah but you can get an 810 for 60-70 quid more but without maps

Don't forget the 800 is old hat in garmin terms IMO you'd be better buying one second hand and upgrading when they bring out the next generation. For starters the battery needs improvement and so does the screen Im not convinced the 810's that great an improvement. Im waiting for a bigger screen and a little more technology before I ditch my 800

I know its the older model - but not that bothered with the 810 dont care about the bluetooth function ect. I think the 800 does everything I want. Just had a look on ebay but most are going close to the £265 which they are new on amazon. As long as I can upload the maps for free (which it looks like I can) then I think amazon it is.

Vickster its £270 on hand tech - Still dont know why wiggle doesnt offer it at this price - as if I get it here I then boost my spending & will qualify for the platinum discount & not gold going forward. Do wiggle price match?
