Well done.

Not caving, Morris dancing. The top of that hill is Cefn Bryn, and the side I dance with dance there at dawn on 1st of May - and at Sunset on the Summer Solstice.

Thanks @Alex321.

I'm wondering if any of you have ridden this road. I'm quite certain many will have ridden the road it will soon join:

Well found @MontyVeda!

If I'd had to show another picture it would probably have been looking down from the familiar GP road, maybe at the junction where this road leaves it. I hadn't decided.

I rode it once, on May 8th 1988, on a day ride from Bristol. Unlikely ever to be repeated, but for anyone still into roads like the Gospel, why wouldn't you go this way instead of heading down to Hay?

Over to MontyVeda...

Having scooted up and down it on street view, I can't help but agree. I want to ride this road!

Location of the first pic... second pic... and third pic.

I can't find a name for the road but is in spitting distance of the Gospell Pass in Wales.

Here's a view @Aravis didn't show us...

Ha! I have cycled down there after doing the Gospel pass from the South.

Didn't recognise it at all.

I found a School Lane near Forton, south of Lancaster. From Ordnance Survey it looks as though there's a line of pylons about the right distance away. So I was confident I'd found it:

But I don't think I had.
I forgot about this one because I have been away but I did have a quick look before I left. Monty concentrates on two areas and I have cycled a lot in the one more local to me, the flatlands east and south of Lancaster. I will have another look at the weekend when I am home unless one of you has found the road by then.

Just to add... you got the obvious clue as to the name of the lane, and you've got the right string of pylons, just the wrong bit.
