This thread's gone strangely quiet lately. This looks like numerous roads I've ridden down (and loved every one), but so far not found a match.

I'm guessing Scotland's lowlands but other than that, no idea.

i was looking on that road too @Alex321 . I think it's the next bend along. still no chevrons though. They might be in the ditch.

Actually next but one bend, and the chevrons are there. But the road is called "The Ross", whichever bend it is

Initially, I didn't think tere was another sharp enough bend before leaving the woods.

Arran - that would explain its air of almost-familiarity for me. I've ridden that road but only in the other direction.
