Nope. I've never been to Devon with a bike.I reckon it is in Devon?
I wasn't looking in Kintyre because of the Campbelltown and Macrihanish Light Railway.Well done @Alex321. Over to you.
Upstream odyssey gives the four-letter name of the nearby farm and also the distinctive hill on the left with the trees on top. I'd tried to make the clue with ultra-modern but couldn't make it read remotely sensibly.
Amod Hill is an anagram of Damon Hill minus the N.
As for the picture itself, the look is too gentle for the far north-west. I think Kintyre must be one of the largest remaining areas never penetrated by the railways, and I've used images from there before.
Saves me scouring any more hilltops round here then! (The hedges look very similar to the ones that I have been cycling past recently.)Nope. I've never been to Devon with a bike.
Doesn't surprise me. When I have been to Devon, I have found it looks very similar in places to parts of round here.Saves me scouring any more hilltops round here then! (The hedges look very similar to the ones that I have been cycling past recently.)
I don't think the sea is actually visible in that photo, though it isn't far beyond those buildings. The streetview image from that point shows a lot more buildings (and other significant objects) as it can see over the hedge.Originally I thought the sea might be in distance but with new photo, not sure now
thats sort of what i thought, but missing out the big bit of the airport building that looks wrong shape and focussing on the bits to the left?
