Something to do with Bikes
Channel 5 8pm

All I saw was a Boardman Road bike so guess the 2 plebs will be "racing" across London being smarmy.

If it's anything like other bikes they have had on this show it'll be top end, stupid money bikes from a car manufacturer <yawn>

I saw one version of this show with a carbon high-racer recumbent vs a UCI carbon bike. What a load of tosh, utterly useless comparison.

Just watched it. Slightly better comparisons today as both bikes are in the 500-1k bracket. Despite what they said I think the Boardman came across better, just whack on decent wheels and tyres

Both blokes are still berks though. ;)

it was bollocks. have a race and whoever wins has the best bike. despite the fact that neither seemed to know how to ride, esp. Dallas (has to be made up) who seems to like a cadence of around 50. utter turd on toast

in fact. while i'm on the subject. GS seems to annoy me more and more. they tested home phones as well. the winner was a B&O phone at £625. it may technically be the best but cost has to factor somewhere in the equation. You may as well have compared the Boardman with a 5 grand Storck. Hmmm, the Storck's the better bike...no shoot.

The funny thing about Suzy Perry is how much more eager Moto GP riders are to talk to her than they are the blokes on the BBC coverage. Especially the Italian riders. ;)

(In)famous story about Suzi Perry:-

Interviewing Ruben Xaus (spanish world superbike rider) after winning a race (or at least getting on the podium). Ruben (in a very effusive spanish way) is thanking everyone under the sun - team, sponsors, family, friends etc, etc, on and on

Suzi Perry : "Gosh Ruben, I thought you were going through the whole paddock"

Neil Hodgson (under breath but clearly audible) : "You can talk....."

I saw this filmed at the Tour of Britain London stage. The guy in the glasses is a cyclist and he told me he got to keep the bikes!

Suppose great advert for Wiggle and Focus.
