down to 80..........

my sole concession to the rain will be to carry a pair of spare socks

One thing that strikes me about this is....if it tips it down this month people can probably come to Brighton in July, or Bognor in August. The one-off night rides can be absolutely ruined by rain. And, if I'd paid £89 for the Moonlight jobby I'd be kind of hacked off

Slightly gutted to be missing this but 2.0 arrived Tuesday and as predicted sleep has been most hard to come by since so it was a good call not to register for this one. Fingers crossed for Brighton next month though.

Happy riding everyone!

Congratulations on the new arrival!

.... up until about 0100hrs then pretty dry.

In view of this mornings torrents I would expect to see further revisions as today progresses.

Good news that you'll be revising your decision, we'll see you at midnight then and I know Adrian is looking forward to your wallet company

What happened to the tried-and-tested method of simply lying about the forecast?
I've never been tempted to do that. I hate riding in the rain and I'd be mortified if I'd somehow persuaded somebody out on a wet night against their better judgement.

I'm afraid that Susie is a little prone to exageration. She describes the 'wet' ride to Southend as 'pouring'. It wasn't. November 2009 and February 2010 to Brighton - they were pouring.

Met Office now revised to 'light' rain!

not sure I am taking my new shiny bike this time. I think this might be more appropriate.
