Oh FFS, do you really have to ask?
Ok as someone who has witnessed "trouble" first hand, do you really have to ask???

+1 for ABO @ Shad. AFAIR a good chance of reaching LBG on foot without excessive assistance. What else to consider?

People who don't live in Southeast London?
Ahem chappy from the sticks. LBG has the best rail links to BOTH South and North London (ever heard of Thameslink?). Plus good connections to Waterloo for the South West, St Pancras/Kings Cross for the real North and Europe plus East Croydon for the real South.

East & West are a bit dodgy though.

Yeah, and next you'll be saying that there is no distinction between north and south London.

'South London' is the bit along the north bank of the River Thames. Once one crosses the Thames one is in either Kent or Surrey. Those who have been on my Thames Path Meander will have seen the proof. ;)

Blackfriars (not far away) has trains to Bedford & Luton to the North, and Brighton to the South, so that caters well.

You'll need to check what stage of buggering about with London Bridge they are up to.

Ahem - those trains to Bedford/Luton & Brighton - all stop at LBG - which is the point. We can all support each other while DZ stops the traffic. It gives probably the greatest range of direct and one platform change connections to the UK, Europe and Blackfriars.
The bit that is buggered up during this phase of the rebuild are to the terminating trains to this bit of SE London. But that's normally Sunday. I wasn't planning on drinking that long

But... no links to Paddington.... which may be @srw 's point?

OK, but they haven't been for a while. If they're back, that's great.

I thought he was a Marylebone Man. Unlinkable to anywhere if you don't have a Brompton!

Paddington is easier, just walk back across London Bridge and take the Circle (proper bikes allowed). Same for Euston and Liverpool Street.
