I'm not sure whether to leave before the mass start or after, since the first four miles or so of the route are identical to my commute, and you lot will get in my way!

My gears are playing slightly silly buggers (cassette and chain replacement tomorrow), so wheel sucking you speed merchants would probably be optimistic.

I may hang around long enough to photograph "Le Grand Departure", and then follow the tail ends up to Clapham Common before diving off along my own way.
