Frame warranty?

frame warranty, regardless of the length of time, is not worth the paper it's printed on!

Had the frame of my 2011 GT roadbike replaced under warranty just months before the 5yr warranty expired. It was relatively painless and argument free, but not entirely trouble free.

I was left to replace the white and yellow stem with something more suitable as the replacement frame/forks were stealthy black & blue.
I had to re-cable the bars as the cables were slightly too short for the new frame. It worked but wasn't quite right.
They lost the frame mount for my pump during the build, with hindsight I should really have removed ALL additions before handing it over for rebuild.

Warranties are worth the paper.

FWIW I've had three Focus frames replaced all under warranty, (different bikes I should add), but all after multiple tinkerings by my good self.

remind me to avoid Focus, unless you're firing them out of cannons.
