Sadly this seems to be part of the end of rim brakes on mainstream bikes.
The rim brake wasn't restricted to odd sizes when I checked,
I am also a bit confused about the fork
Ribble Endurance Carbon Fork 725 White, is this a carbon fork with a steel steerer? This puts me off, I get steel, I get carbon fibre but I don't get a steel frame with a CF fork. To me if a CF fork improves the ride then the steel frame/fork was the wrong geometry for the intended purpose. I have been commuting the same route for last 16 months, the last month on steel (753 frame and forks, but 753 and 725 are very similar materials) instead of CF and the ride has been so much smoother.
Sadly Ribble have been shipping Tiagra equiped bikes with FSA Omega chainsets for quite a while but have not updated their photos. In my mind they have had the time and are deliberately misleading the customer as an all Tiagra bike looks better than one with the FSA crank.
At £700 it is still a good bye
Bye
Ian
