You don’t use the USB cable on the bike, that’s plugs into a different port and is just used for charging.

I thought the promoter of it was suggesting plugging in on the bike after your 1hr 15 mins was up?

That’s correct, the power pack has a hard wired cable which plugs into a different port on the underside of the light. The USB cable provided is different and only used to charge the light or the power pack, see photo of power pack and charging USB cable.
